András Rédli (born October 21, 1983 in Tapolca ) is a Hungarian sword fencer .
successes
András Rédli was internationally successful, especially with the team. 2009 he was with this in Plovdiv European champion and 2011 in Sheffield and in 2013 in Zagreb second. In 2014 he won the individual title in Strasbourg . He won the title with her at the 2013 World Championships in Budapest . Between 2009 and 2012 he also won two bronze medals and one silver medal in the team competition. He secured his only medal in the individual in 2017 in Leipzig with bronze. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he took 28th place in the individual competition. With the Hungarian team, Rédli prevailed after a 42:45 semi-final defeat against France in the battle for third place against Ukraine with 39:37 and won the bronze medal together with Gábor Boczkó , Géza Imre and Péter Somfai . For this success he received the Golden Cross of Merit of the Hungarian Order of Merit .
