Career

Luge started in the youth of the Altchemnitzer BSC and switched to the E-youth of the Chemnitzer FC . After six years in the various youth teams in Chemnitz, he was recruited by Werder Bremen and joined their U-17s. After going through the B-youth and A-youth in the Hanseatic city, he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in summer 2009 . He made his debut against FC Bayern Munich II on the 5th match day of the 2010/11 third division .

In August 2011 Luge dissolved his contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena and moved to the upper division FSV Zwickau , with whom he was promoted to the regional league in 2011/12 . In the following season 2012/13 Luge was in 29 of 30 league games in the starting line-up and scored eleven goals. At the end of the season he finished third in the table with Zwickau.

For the 2013/14 season , the third division promoted RB Leipzig became his new employer and Luge received a four-year contract here. However, he was unable to assert himself in Leipzig. It was only because striker Daniel Frahn was injured that Luge made his first appearance on matchday 18, in the away game at 1. FC Saarbrücken . Luge played a total of six times. He scored his only goal in the home game against the Stuttgarter Kickers  - it was the 2-1 winner. At the end of the season he was able to celebrate promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team .

For the 2014/15 season , Luge was loaned to the regional league club SV Elversberg . For the 2015/16 season he moved to SSV Jahn Regensburg .

In 2017 he moved to the Bayern league club DJK Vilzing . In his first season he scored 18 goals for the Upper Palatinate.
