Andrea Rögner

Andrea Rögner (born April 23, 1974 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a German ergonomist , communication scientist and university professor .

Career

Andrea Rögner graduated from the Aalen University of Applied Sciences in 2001 with a degree in micro and precision engineering / mechatronics with a focus on “ technical writer ” as a Dipl.-Ing. (FH). Her final thesis was awarded the € 5,000 advancement award of the "Landesverband Südwestdeutschland der Commercial Berufsgenossenschaften", which has been awarded annually since 1990 in the entire area of Baden-Württemberg , the Palatinate and Saarland for special theses in the field of occupational safety .

In January 2005, she was at Heinz Bartsch at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering of the Technical University of Cottbus (BTU) in the field of Industrial Engineering with the title " magna cum laude " for Dr.-Ing. PhD. In 2007 she completed her habilitation with Klaus Kornwachs at the Faculty of Mathematics , Natural Sciences and Computer Science of the BTU for Dr. phil. habil. for communication science .

In July 2007 she was appointed head of the communication science department at the BTU. After her habilitation, Rögner also managed projects for Airbus in Hamburg as “Manager International Process Harmonization and Organization Development” and was in charge of the “Technical Services” department at BKW Energie in Bern . In 2009 she was appointed honorary professor by the BTU, where she held courses for the "Information and Media Technology", "Culture and Technology" and interdisciplinary courses . The TU Darmstadt as well as the TU Ilmenau gave her teaching assignments . Rögner was Vice President of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and Managing Director of the FHNW Foundation. From 2014 to 2017 she was Vice-Rector for Business Administration and University Development at the Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences in Zurich . There she taught in the bachelor's and master's programs and was active in research as the director of the “General Business Administration” (IAB). Rögner was a program leader in the DBA course at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with Middlesex University . In May 2017, she was elected Vice-Rector of Education in the school management of the HSR University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil .
