Andrea Solari
Andrea Solari (* 1460 in Milan , † 1524 ibid), and Andrea del Gobbo , was an Italian painter of the Renaissance .
life and work
Solari got his first artistic lessons from his brother, the sculptor Christoforo Solari . He later went to Venice and in 1490 became a student of Giovanni Bellini . From there, Solari moved to the workshop of Leonardo da Vinci and became one of his most important successors. From 1507 to 1509 he worked in France .
Andrea Solari died in Milan in 1524 at the age of 64.
