Andrea Tschacher

Andrea Tschacher (born December 3, 1972 in Dresden ) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and has been a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament since 2017 .

Life and work

Andrea Tschacher received her secondary school leaving certificate in 1989 and then completed an apprenticeship as a clothing maker and a qualification as a civil servant for the middle administrative service . From 1994 she worked as an administrative clerk in the Hohe Elbgeest office , then from 2005 to 2017 she worked as an employment agency in the Duchy of Lauenburg job center ( senior administrative inspector in the senior administrative service ).

Political commitment

Tschacher joined the Junge Union (JU) in 1997 and the CDU in 2000 . She is honorary chairwoman of the JU Duchy of Lauenburg. Andrea Tschacher became involved as managing director of the CDU local association Aumühle from 2000 , and was also its deputy local association chairwoman from 2007 to 2012. In addition, she has been a member of the district committee of the CDU Duchy of Lauenburg since 2001, initially as an assessor and since 2009 as deputy district chairwoman.

Mandates

From 2003 to 2013 Tschacher was involved in the Aumühle community council. She has been a member of the Lauenburg District Assembly since 2005 , where she was deputy district president from 2008 to 2013 , and subsequently as deputy parliamentary group leader of the CDU. Andrea Tschacher ran in the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2017 in constituency 35 Lauenburg-Süd and, as a direct candidate, was narrowly defeated by SPD candidate Kathrin Wagner-Bockey (36.0%) with 35.6% . After Petra Nicolaisen , Member of Parliament, moved into the Bundestag, Andrea Tschacher moved up to the Landtag. She works there in the social committee. In the CDU parliamentary group, Tschacher acts as a drug and addiction policy spokesperson as well as a specialist spokesperson for people with disabilities.
