Andreas Büsser (born February 9, 1963 in Uznach ) is a former cyclist from Switzerland and world champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Andreas "Andy" Büsser specialized early in his cycling career on the cross-country race . As early as 1983 he took part in the Junior World Championships . In 1986 he rode one season for the professional cycling team Mondia . In 1990 he won the UCI World Championships in cyclo- cross races in Spain before Miloslav Kvasnička . On the other hand, he could not win a national title, here his best result was a 3rd place in 1991 when Thomas Frischknecht won .
