Andreas Dietrich (journalist)

Andreas Dietrich (born May 14, 1964 in Bern ) is a Swiss journalist and has been editor-in-chief of the tabloid Blick ( Ringier ) since April 2017 . He began his journalistic career at the daily newspaper Der Bund , after which he worked for the news magazine Facts , Das Magazin , NZZ Folio , as deputy editor-in-chief for Weltwoche and as editor and news chief (member of the editor-in-chief) of the Tages-Anzeiger .

Dietrich is considered one of the most prominent journalists in Switzerland. In 2004 he was nominated for the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize (now the Nannen Prize ), and the Berner Zeitung praised his “polyvalent brilliance as a copywriter, concept designer and producer”.
