Andreas Rüsing (born April 27, 1973 in Hilden ) is a German pianist , composer and conductor .

Life

Soon after taking his first piano lessons in Munich, where he attended a Waldorf school , Andreas Rüsing wrote his first compositions in 1984 at the age of eleven. In 1986 his theater music for The Fiesco Conspiracy in Genoa was performed under his own direction. The composition of further stage and chamber music followed. At the same time he undertook intensive musical training as a pianist, composer and conductor (with Konrad von Abel and Sergiu Celibidache ). From 1994 to 1998 he then studied musicology at the University of Regensburg .

Andreas Rüsing has been working as a cantor in Nuremberg since 2002 , first with St. Markus, then in the Emmaus Church. Here he also leads the Gospeltrain gospel choir . He also works as a pianistic accompanist, as a répétiteur in musical productions and in the performance of classical operas, as a choir director and also as a composer and librettist of his own stage works. Singing lessons at the New Drama School in Nuremberg (2004–2007) were followed by performances with idiosyncratic interpretations of art songs . He also developed his own notation , which should be more comprehensive and more logical than conventional notation .
