Andreas Reichelt (born April 18, 1950 ) was a football player in the GDR Oberliga , the highest East German division. There he played for the company sports community (BSG) Sachsenring Zwickau and won the GDR soccer cup with her in 1975 .

In 1960 Reichelt was accepted into the children's team of the upper division Motor Zwickau. After going through all of the Zwickau youth teams and completing an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, he first played in the second-rate GDR league with the second team from the BSG, which was now called Sachsenring Zwickau .

Reichelt made his debut in the league in 1972. On April 1, he came on as a substitute for striker Hartmut Hoffmann in the 61st minute of the match on the 22nd season game day Sachsenring - Hansa Rostock (2-0) . By the end of the season, he was still used in three other league games. In the next season he was a member of the league team. He played 22 of the 26 played point games and was mainly used as a right attacker. In 1973/74 he was able to increase his betting rate by 25 games, but was now mostly seen on the left side of the storm. When Heinz Wohlrabe was called up for military service in the autumn of 1974, the 1.71 m tall Reichelt was ordered into the defense line, but had to sit out several times in the spring of 1975 due to injury.

So he was initially not in the starting line-up of the Zwickauers, who played the final of the GDR soccer cup for the fourth time in their history on June 14, 1975. It was only when midfielder Dieter Leuschner injured himself in the 11th minute that Reichelt, who had previously played six of the previous seven cup games, was sent onto the field. Sachsenring Zwickau won the FDGB Cup for the third time after a 4-3 win on penalties against the favorite Dynamo Dresden, and for Reichelt it was the greatest success of his football career. Reichelt was also involved in the subsequent eight European Cup matches , in which Sachsenring eliminated such prominent teams as Fiorentina and Celtic Glasgow. In the semi-finals, in which Zwickau were eliminated after two defeats against RSC Anderlecht (0: 2, 0: 2), Reichelt played one left and one right defender.

Mainly as a right defender, Reichelt was also used consistently as a regular player in the following seasons. This series broke when he was only sporadically used in the 1980/81 season, now at the age of 30. At the end of the season he said goodbye to high-performance sport. His last game in the Sachsenring Zwickau league team was on May 30, 1981, the 26th and final day of the season. As with his debut in the league, he played again against Hansa Rostock and was again in the team as a left defender in the 1: 3 away win.

In the summer of 1981, Reichelt joined the third-class district division Wismut / Rotation Crossen to train off, where he later finally ended his career as a footballer.
