Andreas Schulte (* 1960) is a German pianist, singer and composer. He comes from Potsdam .

Andreas Schulte has been playing the piano and keyboard for more than 30 years. He is a studied musician, successful singer and was a co-founder of the GDR pop group " Petra Zieger und Smokings". With Der Himmel Schweigt , Andreas Schulte and Petra Zieger won the Golden Lyra in a duet at the International Song Contest in Bratislava / Slovakia . In 1988 his song Übermut won the “Golden Woge” at the International Music Festival in Bregenz / Austria.

Acting more in the background, Schulte composed and produced for a variety of artists from the rock and pop fields, among others. a. for Johnny Logan , Bernhard Brink , The Winners , Elke Martens , Dagmar Frederic , Jennifer Hen and Dan Lucas .

Furthermore, he wrote soundtracks for the series " Schwarz aveft ein " ( Sat.1 ) and " Klinik unter Palmen " ( ARD / ORF ) and composed the title song for the 1993 World Athletics Championships . The following year he received first prize in the composers' competition of the Association of German Musicians.

In 2005 Schulte released his first solo album Zerrissen . Andreas Schulte continues to compose for himself and other artists.
