Andreas Seifert

Andreas Seifert (born May 31, 1959 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German actor .

Life

After studying acting at the Hanover University of Music and Drama (1982–1986), Seifert had his first engagements at the Stuttgart State Theater in 1986 . He played a leading role in the musical Linie 1 and in Baal . He was employed at the Frankfurt / Main theater from 1987 and can be seen in Die Wupper , Michael Kramer , Die Reichsgründer and One long day's journey into the night . Here he portrayed the fool in King Lear at the side of Marianne Hoppe in 1990 .

From 1992 appearances at the Schauspiel Bonn followed . From 2005 to 2007 he could be seen at the Volkstheater Vienna .

He then became a member of the renowned Berliner Ensemble from 2007 , where he has since appeared in various roles such as Hitler, Eichmann, Veit Tümpel, Rentier Stiefel, among others under the direction of Heiner Müller and Claus Peymann .

Under the direction of Johann Kresnik in Heidelberg he played Hans Prinzhorn in the play Prinzhorn Collection . Seifert was engaged at the Heidelberg Theater and Orchestra in the 2011/12 season . In 2017 he could be seen in the performance of a stage version of George Orwell's novel 1984 at the Ernst Deutsch Theater Hamburg.

Since 1994 he has also been seen in film and television productions again and again. He had his first supporting role in a movie as a Mars troop commander in the film parody (T) Raumschiff Surprise - Period 1 .
