Andreas Siekmann (* 1961 in Hamm ) is a German artist (drawings, painting, film, objects). In his works he deals with the economization and privatization of public urban space. His works are in the tradition of the Cologne progressives .

life and work

Andreas Siekmann studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy .

In 2007 he took part in Documenta 12 and thus, after 2002 ( Documenta11 ), for the second time in a documenta in Kassel . a. with the work " The Exclusive - On the Politics of the Excluded Fourth ".

In 2007 he addressed the Münster sculpture project with “Trickle down.
