Andrei Alexandrowitsch Gawrilow ( Russian Андрей Александрович Гаврилов ; born November 8, 1987 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper , who was most recently under contract with Salawat Julajew Ufa in the Continental Hockey League .
Career
Andrei Gawrilow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Spartak Saint Petersburg . For the 2005/06 season he moved to its city neighbor SKA Saint Petersburg , for whose second team he ran up in the third-class Pervaya League . From 2006 to 2009 the goalkeeper was under contract for one season each for the professional teams of his ex-club HK Spartak Saint Petersburg, Ariada-Akpars Wolschsk , and HK Lipezk in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division.
For the 2009/10 season Gavrilow was committed by Vitjas Chekhov from the Continental Hockey League . In his rookie year in the KHL, he completed 19 games for Chekhov. He had an average of 4.09 goals against per game and a catch rate of 87.6%. On January 30, 2010 he was given to his league rival Atlant Mytishchi , for whom he ran up to the end of the season in one game each in the main round and in the playoffs. The 2010/11 season he also started with Atlant Mytishchi in the KHL, but shortly after the start of the season he moved to Schinnik Babrujsk from the Belarusian extra league , in which he was a regular goalkeeper.
For the 2011/12 season he was committed by Molot-Prikamje Perm from the Vysschaya Hockey League .
Between 2014 and 2016 he played for the newly founded KHL participant HK Sotschi , then for a year with Salawat Yulayev Ufa in the Continental Hockey League .
