Andrei Nikolajewitsch Krassowski

Andrei Nikolajewitsch Krassowski ( Russian Андрей Николаевич Красовский ; born June 23, 1953 in Sverdlovsk ) is a Russian mathematician and university professor .

Life

Krassowski, son of the mathematician Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Krassowski , studied in Sverdlovsk at the Polytechnic Institute of the Urals (UPI) with a degree in lifting and transport machines in 1975.

Subsequently, Krassowski worked at the Chair of Theoretical Mechanics of Mathematics - Mechanics - Faculty of the Ural University (UrGU) in Sverdlovsk. He specialized in optimal control theory and differential games. His teacher was Yuri Sergeyevich Osipov . Krassowski took part in conferences in the USA , Austria , South Korea and Hungary . 1986–1987 he was a visiting scholar at the University of Sarajevo . He participated in the Dynamic Systems project of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Laxenburg . In 1992 he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the Lomonosov University in Moscow . In 1994 he was appointed professor. Together with his father, he wrote a book on control theory.

From 1995–2001, Krassowski headed the organizing committee for the finals of the All-Russian Student Olympiad for Theoretical Mechanics. He headed the Ural University Chess Club (1990–1999) and the UPI Chess Club (1999–2011).

In 1999 Krassowski returned to the UPI and headed the chair for multimedia technology . In 2011, Krassovsky became a professor at the Department of Graphics and Machine Components at the Urals Agricultural Academy in Yekaterinburg .
