Andrei Stanislavovich Barbaschinski ( Russian Андрей Станиславович Барбашинский , Belarusian Андрэй Станіслававіч Барбашынскі , white Russian transcription. Andrei Petrovich Stanislawa Barbaschinski ; * 4. May 1970 in Ashmyany ) is a former Belarusian handball player who mostly as a pivot player was used.

Barbschinski comes from the talent factory of SKA Minsk , with whom he became Soviet champion in 1989 and vice-champion in 1990. His greatest club successes were victories in the European Cup in 1989 and 1990 . In 1993 he tried his luck in Spain at Club Juventud Alcalá, but returned after one season to Minsk, where he became Belarusian champion in 1995. He then moved to the Hungarian club Fotex Veszprém , with which he won the Hungarian Cup in 1996. In 1996 he joined the German Bundesliga club VfL Hameln . After one season he had to give way to the newly signed Dragan Škrbić and he joined the second division TV Emsdetten , where he ended his career in 2001.

With the Soviet junior national team, Andrei Barbaschinski was Junior World Champion in 1989 and won bronze at the Junior World Championships in 1991. With the United Team , he won the gold medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. He then threw 134 goals in 49 international matches for the Belarusian national team .
