Andrei Valeryevich Tichonow ( Russian Андрей Валерьевич Тихонов ; born October 16, 1970 in Kaliningrad , Moscow Oblast ) is a former Russian football player .

Career

The midfielder played for Spartak Moscow from 1992 to 2000 and was voted Russian Footballer of the Year in 1999. From 2000 to 2004 Tikhonov was committed by Krylya Sovetov Samara . In 2005 he moved to FK Chimki for three seasons . In 2008 he was again under contract with Krylja Sowetow Samara. He left this club in February 2009 and played the 2009 season with the Kazakh first division club Lokomotive Astana . In 2010 he returned to FK Chimki.

National team

Tikhonov completed a total of 29 missions for the Russian national team and scored one goal.
