Andrew Eugene Bellisario CM (born December 19, 1956 in Los Angeles , USA ) is an American religious and appointed Roman Catholic Archbishop of Anchorage-Juneau .

Life

Andrew Bellisario joined the Congregation of the Vincentians at and received on 16 June 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 10, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Juneau. The Archbishop of Anchorage , Paul Dennis Etienne , ordained him episcopal on October 10 of that year . Co- consecrators were his predecessor Roger Lawrence Schwietz OMI and the Bishop of Dallas , Edward James Burns PSS .

Since June 7, 2019, he has been Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Anchorage. On May 19, 2020, Pope Francis united the Diocese of Juneau with the Archdiocese of Anchorage to form the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau and abolished the Diocese of Juneau as an independent diocese. Andrew Bellisario was named Archbishop of the United Archdiocese on the same date.
