Andrew Fisher (born December 15, 1991 ) is a Bahraini sprinter of Jamaican origin who has been eligible to compete in Bahrain since 2016.

Athletic career

For the first time at an international championship, Andrew Fisher appeared at the Central America and Caribbean Championships (CAC) 2013 in Morelia . There he won the 100 meter run in 10.14 s and won the silver medal with the Jamaican 4 x 100 meter relay in 38.86 s. At the IAAF World Relays 2014 in the Bahamas , it was used in advance. In 2016 he took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro for Bahrain , where he was disqualified in the semi-finals . In 2017, at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, he won silver over 100 meters behind the Turk Ramil Guliyev and gold with the Bahraini 4 x 100 meter relay. With his performance, he also qualified for the World Championships in London , where he was eliminated over 100 meters with 10.36 s in the semifinals . In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was eliminated there with 10.37 s in the semifinals and could not qualify for the final with the relay.

In 2019 he won the silver medal over 100 meters and with the relay at the Arab Championships in Cairo and came fourth at the Asian Championships in Doha in 10.20 seconds.
