Andrew Weisblum

Andrew M. Weisblum (born November 1971 ) is an American film editor .

Life

After Andrew M. Weisblum studied for a year at Dartmouth College from 1990 to 1991 , he moved to Oberlin College , where he received his bachelor's degree in 1994 . Since he already worked as an assistant editor during his studies on the comedy Naked in New York, among other things , he stayed in New York for over ten years, where he still worked on films such as Is She until his first two independent film cuts, Coney Island Baby and Undermind not great? and Femme Fatal assisted.

In particular, for the two films The Wrestler - Fame, Love, Pain and Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky , Weisblum received international critical praise and was honored with a nomination of the Oscars for Best Editing and the British Academy Film Awards for Best Editing . In Noah (2014) the two worked together again.
