Andrina Gugger (born April 18, 1991 in Rickenbach ) is a Swiss racing driver . In 2012 she started in the ADAC GT Masters .

Career

Gugger began her motorsport career at the age of four in karting , where she was active until 2007. In 2008 she switched to formula racing and started for Jo Zeller Racing in the Formula Lista junior . She won a race and finished her debut season in fourth place overall. In 2009 she stayed in the Formula Lista junior and competed for the Gugger team. She won the season opener and finished seventh in the drivers' championship. In 2010 Gugger moved to the ADAC Formula Masters at Mücke Motorsport . While her teammate Pascal Wehrlein finished sixth with a win, Gugger finished the season with fifth place as the best result in 15th place overall. After the season she took part in GP3 test drives for Mücke , which made her the first woman in a GP3 car.

In 2011 Gugger switched to GT racing. She took part in six of 16 races of the European Trofeo Maserati and was eighth overall with two podium finishes. In addition, she entered two races in the Blancpain Endurance Series . She achieved two podium finishes in the GT4 Cup classification. In addition, she took for Callaway Competition in two races of the ADAC GT Masters in part. After Gugger had taken part in the 24-hour race in Dubai , she will be competing in 2012 with Otto Klohs for Fach Auto Tech in the ADAC GT Masters.

In 2013 she started in the ETCC with a Honda Civic FD S2000. Your team was Rikli Motorsport, whose owner also drove in the series. She won the "Ladies Cup" and was sixth overall. In 2014 she also moved a Honda Civic as part of the series.

Gugger is studying part-time as a teacher at the University of Education in Zurich.
