Andrzej Franciszek Dziuba (born October 10, 1950 in Pleszew , Greater Poland Voivodeship , Poland ) is Bishop of Łowicz .

Life

The Archbishop of Gniezno and Warsaw , Stefan Cardinal Wyszynski , ordained him a priest on June 21, 1975 . From 1984 to 1998 he was Head of the Secretariat of the Polish Primate and Personal Secretary to Cardinal Józef Glemp .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Łowicz on March 27, 2004. The Archbishop of Warsaw , Józef Cardinal Glemp , donated him episcopal ordination on May 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Henryk Józef Muszyński , Archbishop of Gniezno , and Alojzy Orszulik SAC , Former Bishop of Łowicz. As a motto he chose Soli Deo .

In 1995 Andrzej Dziuba was already involved in the establishment of the Polish Lieutenancy of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and was accepted as an officer in the Papal Lay Order by Cardinal Grand Master Carlo Furno . On January 23, 2014 he was appointed Grand Officer of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem by the Cardinal Grand Master Edwin Frederick O'Brien . On November 30, 2014, the graduation ceremony took place in the Cathedral of the Assumption and St. Nicholas in Łowicz .
