Andrzej Nędza-Kubiniec (born June 19, 1991 ) is a Polish biathlete and former cross-country skier .

Career

Andrzej Nędza-Kubiniec initially started for KS AZS AWF Katowice , and since then for UKS Regle Koscielisko . At first he was an active cross-country skier. He contested his first Slavic Cup and FIS races since the end of 2007. The first highlight was the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2009 in Silesia , where a 21st place in the freestyle sprint was his best result. In 2011, the Junior World Championships followed in Otepää . In Estonia, the Pole finished 66th in the 10-kilometer freestyle, 21st in the sprint and 34th in the pursuit. Until 2012 he took part in more than 90 lower class races without being able to establish himself permanently. Therefore, he switched to biathlon for the 2011/12 season.

In the biathlon, the junior races of the European Biathlon Championships 2012 in Osrblie Nędza-Kubiniecs were the first international competitions. He was 46th of the individual, 44th of the sprint and did not finish the pursuit race as a lapped runner. In 2014, the European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě were the first major international event for men in the performance area. In the individual, he ran to 59th place, was 71st in the sprint race and came in the relay race on the side of Grzegorz Jakubowicz , his brother Maciej and Krzysztof Guzik on 19th place.
