Andrzej Przybylski

Andrzej Przybylski (born November 26, 1964 in Łowicz ) is a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Częstochowa .

Life

Andrzej Przybylski initially studied pedagogy and entered the seminary in 1988 . On May 30, 1993 he received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Częstochowa through Archbishop Stanisław Nowak .

From 1994 to 1998 he was the personal secretary of Archbishop Stanisław Nowak. From 1997 to 2004 he was head of the archbishop's youth pastoral office and from 1998 to 2008 he was responsible for student pastoral care in the archbishopric. From 2004 to 2008 he was also pastor of the first student community. In 2006 he received his PhD in Human Sciences with a specialization in Pedagogy at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń . From 2008 to 2015 he was reign of the seminary of Częstochowa and then pastor of St. Peter and Paul in Zawiercie , one of the largest parishes in the archdiocese, and dean .

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Hortanum and auxiliary bishop in Częstochowa on May 20, 2017 . The Archbishop of Częstochowa, Wacław Depo , donated him episcopal ordination on June 24th of the same year. Co- consecrators were old archbishop Stanisław Nowak and the apostolic nuncio in Poland, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio .
