Fabio Dal Cin
Fabio Dal Cin (born January 23, 1965 in Vittorio Veneto , Treviso Province , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and prelate of Loreto .
Life
Fabio Dal Cin received on 7 December 1990, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He obtained a licentiate in theology in Padua and was appointed episcopal delegate for educational pastoral care in 2000. In March 2007, Dal Cin became official of the Congregation for Bishops . Pope Benedict XVI awarded him the title of Chaplain to His Holiness in 2012 .
On May 20, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Prelate of Loreto with the rank of Archbishop ad personam and Papal Envoy for the Sanctuary of Loreto and for the Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua . He received his episcopal ordination in the cathedral of his hometown Vittorio Veneto on July 9, 2017 by Cardinal Marc Ouellet , Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops. Co- consecrators were the bishop of Vittorio Veneto , Corrado Pizziolo , and his predecessor, the emeritus prelate of Loreto, Giovanni Tonucci .
