Andy Konrad
Andy Konrad (* 1981 in Vaduz , Liechtenstein ) is a Liechtenstein actor , comedian , cabaret artist and theater producer .
Life
Andy Konrad completed his acting training at the private drama school Schauspiel München from 2003 to 2006 . He also attended various seminars and workshops for film work and camera acting at the HFF Munich .
Konrad's first theater work was during his studies at the Munich TamS Theater (2005). This was followed in 2006 by theater engagements in Salzburg (Festspielhaus) and at the Liechtenstein open-air theater. In 2007 he was a guest at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival ; as Chevalier Danzeny in Christopher Hampton's " Dangerous Liaisons " , he was partner of Heike Trinker , who embodied the Marquise de Merteuil. He then had other guest engagements at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt (2007), the Altstadttheater Ingolstadt (2008) and the Free Theater Bozen (2008/2009).
In 2008 and 2009 he appeared at the Mondsee Castle Festival as Benedict in the Shakespeare comedy “ Much Ado About Nothing ”; here were u. a. Alexander Becht (John), Martina Ebm (Hero), Victoria Fleer (Beatrice) and Johannes Hendrik Langer (Claudio) are his partners.
The Vaduz “Schlösslekeller” (2009–2011), the Berlin bread factory (2012, as Nathan in Yasmina Reza's “Conversations after a funeral” in an open-air event with a picnic) and the Theater am Kirchplatz (TaK) in Schaan (Liechtenstein ) were Konrad's other stage stations in which he a. a. appeared in solo pieces, performances and with cabaret programs. In 2015 he played the role of Paul, who had to struggle with the Nazi past of his family for years , in “Rubel, Riet and Rock'n'Roll”, a TaK in-house product. He has also been managing director of the Showtime Establishment event agency since 2013 as a producer, actor and director at crime dinner events.
Konrad also took on several film and TV roles. In 2011, he was a suspect assistant doctor in the ZDF crime series “ Die Rosenheim-Cops ”. Patrick Weidemann can be seen in an episode role. In the ZDF series “ Die Garmisch-Cops ” (2014) he took on the role of Dennis Berger, captain and most successful goalscorer of an ice hockey team. In March 2015 he was seen again in the television series “Die Rosenheimcops”, this time as the suspected husband and antique dealer Uwe Meiler.
In 2009 Konrad was awarded the “Prix Kujulie”, the Liechtenstein Culture Prize. Konrad lives in Munich .
