Johannes Hendrik Langer , also Johannes Langer , (* 1985 in Kiel ) is a German actor .

Life

Johannes Hendrik Langer comes from Northern Germany . As a teenager he already played at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg . From August 2005 to September 2008 he trained as an actor at the School for Drama in Hamburg , which he completed with the stage maturity test. He attended acting and theater workshops with Marie Bäumer (2007) and with theater director Thomas Ostermeier at the Schaubühne Berlin .

After completing his acting studies, he made guest appearances at various Hamburg theaters. In December 2008 he played in the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus in Hamburg in the children's play Der Wunschpunsch, based on the children's book “ Der satanarchäolügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch ” by Michael Ende . In 2009 he was a guest at the Mondsee Castle Festival as Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing .

Since 2009 he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater an der Parkaue - Junge Staatstheater Berlin. There he played numerous leading and supporting roles. He stepped there u. a. in the title role of Timm Thaler (2009-2015), as Kai in Die Schneekönigin (2010; in this role also from 2013 to 2015 in a new production), Pitt in Irrungen, Wirrungen (2010/11 season), Marcell in Frau Jenny Treibel (2010/11 season), Siegmund in Der Sandmann (2011), Dr. Livesey in Die Schatzinsel (2013/14 season), Olivier in Das Fräulein von Scuderi (2013/14 season) and as Balthasar in Klein Zaches, called Zinnober (2013–2015).

From the premiere in 2011 to 2015, Langer played the role of Kasperl in the children's theater production Radau at the Theater an der Parkaue ! based on the radio play Radau um Kasperl by Walter Benjamin . The production with Langer in the lead role was awarded the IKARUS Prize for the best production for children in 2011. At the Theater an der Parkaue he also played SOFTGUN in the solo evening .

In the 2015/16 season he was a guest at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in the musical theater production for children Die Irrfahrten des Odysseus .

From 2001 Langer also took on roles in film and television. He made his television debut in January 2003 with a leading role in the children's series Die Pfefferkörner . This was followed by episode roles in the television series Die Kinder vom Alstertal , Die Rettungsflieger (first broadcast in 2004) and 112 - They save your life (2009).

In the ZDF documentary series Women Who Made History in 2013 he was seen alongside Liv Lisa Fries (as Sophie Scholl ) as resistance fighter Hans Scholl .

In 2015 he had an episode role in the ZDF crime series SOKO Leipzig ; he played the acting student Malte. In January 2016, Langer was seen in a leading role in the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar . He played the agricultural engineer Christof Gödecke, the son of an organic farmer. In the 9th season of the ZDF crime series Die Bossin (first broadcast from August 2018) he had an episode role as Ben Bartels; he played a former police officer who made common cause with con artists from the police.

Langer also worked in several short films, short fiction films, university films and commercials (including DKV , Ferrero ). He also works as a narrator for documentaries, radio plays and in radio advertising.

Johannes Hendrik Langer lives in Berlin.
