Andy Ost

Andreas "Andy" Ost (born October 14, 1980 in Hanau ) is a German singer , songwriter and comedian .

Career

Cabaret - stage & TV

At the age of nine, Ost stood on a stage for the first time as a hand-made speaker. In 2007 he convinced with his musical parodies at the Mainz Carnival and made it into the live broadcast Mainz remains Mainz, as it sings and laughs . Ost was also a guest on the show in February 2018 and, together with Tobias Mann, “introduced the current patterns of music comedy in Carnival with musical-parodic heights.” In 2015, 2016 and 2018, Ost was part of the “something else” broadcast by Hr-TV Carnival session “ Rosa Wölkchen , in 2017 he appeared in the show KarnevalsKracher , moderated by Olivia Jones and Bernd Stelter . In June 2017, Ost was one of the artists in the Hessentag show program . In 2015 and 2018 Ost supported the benefit event Bad Kreuznach laughs… .

In the 2017/18 season, Ost took part in the German Cabaret League, the winner of which he emerged in June 2018.

From 2010 he toured with his first full-length solo program Völlig Pain-Free! . Ein Quantum Ost followed in 2013, and Im Eufer der Phorie in 2016 . The tour of his fourth solo program Kunstpark Ost has been announced for autumn 2018 , and Ost has also been on the road with Johannes Scherer as a comedy duo with the Very Nice program since 2014 .

In the summer of 2014, Ost traveled to Los Angeles to record his first studio album Bock auf Leben in the recording studio of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee . On December 12, 2015, it was awarded six times by the jury of the 33rd German Rock & Pop Prize .

On October 15, 2016, Ost invited to the concert of life in the Frankfurt Festhalle . Musical guests of the evening included the moderator and comedian Johannes Scherer , Woody Feldmann and the German magician and illusionist Peter Valance .

In 2017, Ost published the song "Together we are Germany" on the Day of German Unity , a version of which was also released in June for the 2018 World Cup .

Private life

Ost was trained as a pilot at Deutsche Lufthansa .

He is married and lives with his family near Hanau .
