The Ange is a river in France that runs in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises near Petit Vallon in the municipality of Apremont , first drains north and northeast, reaches the urban area of Oyonnax and swings there in a south-westerly direction. From here it is accompanied by several traffic routes (railroad, A404 motorway , departmental roads), crosses an industrial zone and, after a total of 21 kilometers, flows into the Oignin as a right tributary on the southern outskirts of Brion .
