Angela Robinson

Angela Robinson (born February 14, 1971 in San Francisco ) is an American film director .

Life

After finishing school, Robinson studied at Brown University and New York University . After completing her studies, she made several films as a film director, most of which deal with LGBT topics. For the film Spy Girls - DEBS she received the reader award of the German magazine Siegessäule .

In 2018 she was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.

She lives in Los Feliz , California and is married to film and television director Alexandra Kondracke , whom she met while studying. In 2009 Angela Kondracke gave birth to a son.
