Angelica Seithe, also Angelica Seithe-Blümer, (born July 4, 1945 in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz Mountains ) is a German psychologist , psychotherapist and poet .

Life

Angelica Seithe studied psychology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster from 1966 to 1971 and graduated with a diploma. This was followed by training in depth psychology, among others at the Psychoanalytic Institute in Giessen . From 1973 to 2010 she managed the Berthold-Martin -Haus, a psychotherapeutic dormitory for adolescents and young adults in Gießen and since 1982 has been teaching and training at the Institute for Imaginative Psychotherapy in Göttingen (AGKB). She published numerous articles that deal with the clinical picture of anorexia , the imagination in psychotherapy, but also with questions about language and creativity.

At the same time, Seithe writes poetry and short prose. Her texts have appeared both as single titles and in literary magazines and anthologies, including Am Erker , Das Gedicht , Der Dreischneuß , erostepost , Keine Delikatessen , Signum , Sinn und Form , Sommergras, on fixpoetry.de and on the radio (hr2-Kultur) .
