Angelica Wallén (born April 11, 1986 in Tibro , Sweden ) is a Swedish handball player .

Career

Wallén comes from Tibro, Sweden, where she started playing handball. The back player later moved to the Swedish club Skövde HF . With Skövde the right-hander won the Swedish championship in the 2007/08 season. In the summer of 2010 she joined the Danish first division team Esbjerg . In 2013 she signed a contract with league rivals Randers HK . In the 2015/16 season she ran for the French club Toulon Saint-Cyr Var Handball . She then moved to the Swedish first division club Skuru IK . From the 2017/18 season she was under contract with the Danish first division club Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub . With Nykøbing Falster she won the Danish Cup in 2018. She has been playing for Odense Håndbold since summer 2020 .

Wallén has played 78 games for Sweden so far , in which she scored 99 goals. With the Swedish selection, Wallén took 2nd place at the 2010 European Championships . In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London . She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
