Leopold Tobias

Leopold Karl Maria Tobias (born March 21, 1837 in Trier ; † March 25, 1894 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer in the Rhine Province . He represented his hometown in the Reichstag .

Life

Tobias attended the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Trier until 1855 . After graduating from high school, he began to study law and camera science at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg in 1855 . In 1856 he was reciprocated in the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . When he was inactive , he moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin .

From 1858 to 1861 he was an auscultator at the Trier Regional Court and the Aachen Regional Court . After the legal traineeship he entered the internal administration of the Kingdom of Prussia . From 1861 to 1865 he was in the government in Trier and from 1866 to 1871 in the government in Szczecin . From 1871 to 1885 he was district administrator of the Saarburg district and from 1885 until his death district administrator of the Trier district .

From 1867 to 1871 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Trier 2 ( Wittlich , Bernkastel ). In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament from 1868 to 1870 . In the Reichstag he belonged to the faction of the free conservatives .
