Philipp Deichmann
Philipp Deichmann (born December 24, 1889 in Gilserhof ; † May 21, 1962 in Koblenz ) was a German administrative lawyer.
Life
Deichmann's father was the district councilor Deichmann, who came from Lembach (Homberg) and had leased the former Gilserhof manor from the Kaufungen knightly foundation . He studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and renoncierte 1908 the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . In 1909 he retired as a fox. At the University of Marburg doctorate he 1912 Dr. iur. From 1916 to 1919 he was a court assessor in the Kingdom of Prussia , then he moved to the internal administration of the Free State of Prussia . After three years as a government assessor at the district administration in Gumbinnen , he was government and senior government councilor in the Prussian Ministry of Finance from 1922 to 1928 . In 1929 he became district administrator in the Neidenburg district . In 1932 he moved to the district of Eschwege as district administrator and from 1936 to 1945 he was district administrator in the Trier district . From 1949 to 1958 he was head of the Rhineland-Palatinate state property administration in Koblenz . At that time, Deichmann was politically active in the FDP , for which he ran unsuccessfully on the Rhineland-Palatinate state list in the 1953 federal election and was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate expellees committee. On May 15, 1954 he became a corps bow bearer of Rhenania Freiburg. He bequeathed considerable amounts to the Corps and the Association for Student Dormitories.
