Angelo de Mojana di Cologna
Angelo de Mojana dei Signori di Cologna (born August 13, 1905 in Milan , † January 17, 1988 in Rome ); was the 77th Grand Master of the Order of Malta from May 8, 1962 until his death .
Mojana was accepted into the order in 1940 and made perpetual vows in 1957 . He became a professed knight and monk in the sense of canon law.
In 1987, 25 years after being elected Grand Master, Mojana was accepted as a knight in the Order of Christ by Pope John Paul II. This is the highest Vatican honor and has not been awarded since.
