The Angenbach is a brook in the southern Black Forest that flows into the meadow from the left and east in Mambach , a district of Zell im Wiesental in the district of Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg . Sometimes he is also called Mambach .
geography
course
The Angenbach arises in the Häg-Ehrsberg district of Happach from the union of two source streams, the Moosbach, coming from the right and north, and the Forsthofbach, flowing from the left and northeast . Both are almost the same length and both the highest springs are between 1,080 and 1090 m above sea level. NN .
Starting from Happach, the brook flows steadily in a south-westerly to westerly direction, cutting the deep Angenbachtal into the crystalline basement . The stream drains almost the entire municipality of Häg-Ehrsberg.
After a length of 6.5 km from the confluence or of about 8.6 km from the mündungsfernsten sources of almost equal length two source rivers emptying into Mambach, a district of Zell im Wiesental , from the left and east into the meadow .
Catchment area
The catchment area covers exactly 22 km² and a little more than half of it is forested. Between its northeasternmost point Am Dreieckigen Stein above the source of the Mattengraben and the westernmost point at the mouth, it stretches about 7.8 km to the southwest, the width across it fluctuates little in front of the mouth wedge and reaches once at the widest point between Ehrsberg and the Rohrenkopf 3.9 km. The highest point in the catchment area is Beim Dreieckigen Stein at 1191.5 m above sea level. NN , the origin at about 758 m above sea level. NN , the mouth at about 459 m above sea level. NN . The mean bed slope is correspondingly high, from the origin about 46 ‰, from the source of the Mattenbach almost 72 ‰.
The watershed is very well defined almost everywhere. From the estuary in the very west it initially runs northeast, until Ehrsbach is the receiving meadow on the other side of the immediate competitor, then for a long time the Künabach , and at the very end of the triangular stone is the catchment area of the Prägbach flowing northwards . Then the catchment area border runs south to the Steinbühl , the streams on the other side are taken up by the Wehra . Its catchment area is also beyond the watershed that then runs southwest to the head of the pipe , where it bends west to the mouth of the Angenbach and the large Wehra tributary, Hasel, initially collects the runoff on the other side. The last competitor before the estuary is then again an insignificant meadow tributary.
Tributaries
Tributaries are the Haselbach and the Löchlebach below Happach, the Sägenmattbächle or the Schrohbach opposite the Zinken Altenstein, the Mühlebach near Rohmatt and the Wölflisbrunnenbach a little below it on the right. Left-sided tributaries are the Schwendelbach and Schattseite Rainbach in old stone This stream when prongs Sonnenmatt, the Althuette Bach at Rohmatt and Fliegetengraben below it. See the list below for details.
Shortly before it joins the Angenbach, the Schrohbach falls in three steps down the Häger waterfalls , which are protected as a natural monument.
Hierarchical list of the tributaries from the source to the mouth. Water lengths usually according to LUBW-FG10 (data record entries), catchment areas according to LUBW-GEZG, height information according to the contour image on the geodata viewer. Other sources for the information are indicated where applicable.
The river sections according to the names in the data sets of the LUBW-FG10 sometimes deviate from their labels on the background map or the TK25, which were taken to be more authoritative here. If necessary, lengths were determined from the data on lengths and stationing for LUBW-FG10 for subsections and added up again.
