Paciano Basilio Aniceto (born March 11, 1937 in Santa Ana ) is retired Archbishop of San Fernando .

Life

Paciano Basilio Aniceto was ordained a priest on December 23, 1962 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of San Fernando . On April 7, 1979, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Tuguegarao and titular bishop of Tlos .

The Pope personally donated his episcopal ordination on May 27 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , and Raymond Ken'ichi Tanaka , substitute for the State Secretariat .

On August 20, 1983, he was appointed Bishop of Iba . On January 31, 1989, he was appointed Archbishop of San Fernando.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on July 25, 2014.
