Anita Gutwell

Anita Gutwell , married Nussgruber (born November 14, 1931 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee , Carinthia ) is a former Austrian actress .

Life

In her youth Anita Gutwell attended a technical school in Vienna to learn the tailoring trade, then worked for a few years as a saleswoman before she was discovered for the film. In 1954 she became well known with her first movie The Forester from the Silver Forest alongside Rudolf Lenz . This was followed by other homeland films with Rudolf Lenz as a film partner, such as Försterliesel in 1956 and Der Poacher vom Silberwald in 1957 . Rudolf Lenz was also her partner in Die Sennerin von St. Kathrein in 1955 and in Love, Snow and Sunshine in 1956, in 1958 in Once again to see my home and in 1960 for the last time in homesickness for you, my green valley .

Other partners in her films included Peter Alexander , Wolf Albach-Retty , Montgomery Clift , Beppo Brem , OW Fischer , Maria Schell and Willy Millowitsch .

She shot a total of 15 films, mostly from the Heimatfilm division, and then withdrew from the film business.

After retiring from film, she married the Austrian director Rudolf Nussgruber and now lives in Vienna as Anita Nussgruber.
