Klemenčič, who competes for TSK Triglav Kranj, appeared internationally for the first time at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec . There she took 35th place over 5 km freestyle and seventh place with the relay. Her best placements in Predeal were seventh place over 7.5 km freestyle and sixth place with the relay and at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2014 in Val di Fiemme the 41st place over 5 km classic and seventh place with the relay . The following year she came in fifth place with the relay at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Almaty . In the individual races she ran on 34th place in the skiathlon , on the 27th place in the sprint and on the 26th place over 5 km freestyle. She completed her first World Cup races in January 2016 in Planica , which she finished in 52nd place in the sprint and in 21st place together with Anja Zavbi Kunaver in the team sprint. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she finished 33rd over 5 km classic, 30th place in sprint and 26th place over 10 km freestyle. She ran her first race in the Alpine Cup in December 2016 in Valdidentro , which she finished in 31st place over 10 km classic and 30th place over 10 km freestyle. At the U23 World Championships 2018 in Goms , she achieved 33rd place in skiathlon, 32nd place over 10 km classic and 17th place in sprint. In the 2018/19 season, she finished 46th in the 5 km mass start race at the 2019 U23 World Championships in Lahti , 32nd place in the 10 km freestyle and 16th place in the sprint and at the 2019 Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld 46th place in Tyrol over 10 km classic. The following season she won her first Continental Cup win at the Balkan Cup in Pale over 5 km freestyle . In addition, she won second place there over 5 km freestyle and in Pokljuka third place over 5 km classic.
