Anja Jaenicke (born October 9, 1963 in Berlin ) is a German actress and author.

Life

Anja Jaenicke is the daughter of actress Käte Jaenicke , with whom she also stood in front of the camera (in the film Farewell in Berlin , director: Antonio Skármeta ) and the writer Aras Ören .

She made her film debut in 1977 with the leading role in Heimkind and has since played in numerous film and television productions. For her role in Percy Adlon's film The Swing , she received the 1983 Bavarian Film Award as best young actress and for the TV series Mensch Bachmann the Bambi . She played in some Tatort episodes and television series (including Der Alte and Derrick and the series Die Drombuschs ).

In 2011 she published a novel called The Mirror Image of Being . She has also published six volumes of poetry in English. Anja Jaenicke is a member of the Poetic Genius Society.

Anja Jaenicke was awarded the "Genius of the Year Award 2019" by the VedIQ Guild Foundation, New York, for her overall artistic work.
