Anke Fuchs (author)
Anke Fuchs (* 1973 in Wuppertal ) is a German author, lyricist and slam poet.
Life
Her texts have been published in numerous literary magazines and anthologies. Since the Aachen Literature Days 2003 she has been performing more of her poems and prose in public, and since 2006 she has been taking part in poetry slams . At the North Rhine-Westphalian Championships ( NRW Slam ) in the Poetry Slam, she reached the finals in Münster in 2008 , in Siegen in 2009 and in Bielefeld in 2010 . Her greatest success was the second place in 2009 (behind Torsten Sträter ). Between 2006 and 2012 she always qualified for the German-speaking slam championships , in 2008 and 2010 she was able to move into the semi-finals. In 2011 the CD appeared very slowly with some of her stage texts in Lektora-Verlag . In 2012 she won the ZDF Poetry Slam . In September 2012 her text Was es ist was the "Poem of the Month" in the House of German Language .
Fuchs organizes and moderates various literary events in North Rhine-Westphalia, including her reading stage An Evening Called Gudrun (with Michael Heide , Christian Gottschalk, Sami Omar and Cris Revon) and the poetry slam " Reim in Flammen " at the Cologne Bahnhof Ehrenfeld club.
Anke Fuchs lives and works in Bonn .
