Anke Wichmann (born August 28, 1975 in Stendal ) is a former German cyclist .

Anke Wichmann was an active cyclist from the age of eight. Above all, she celebrated success on the track . In 1992 she was in Athens and in 1993 in Perth third at the Junior World Championships in the singles pursuit . In 1997 she became vice European champion in pursuit. Until 2003 she placed numerous times on podium places at German track cycling world championships in the disciplines of single pursuit and points races; In 2002 and 2003 she became German championship points race.

Wichmann was a member of the Bundeswehr's sports promotion group until 2004 , after which he joined professional teams. She then shifted her focus to the road , until she retired from cycling in 2008. In her last active year, she won the third stage of the Holland Ladies Tour and the team time trial at the Giro della Toscana Femminile with her team from Columbia High-Road . At the German Road Cycling Championships in Bochum , she finished sixth in the individual time trial after she had reached eighth place on June 27, 2008 in Luckau.

Anke Wichmann has been working as a physiotherapist since 2009 , also in cycling. Since 2015 she has been running her own practice in Peguera on Mallorca together with the former national coach Bernd Dittert .
