The Actimonda BKK (statutory Short name: Actimonda health insurance , personal letters: actimonda health insurance ) is a nationwide open Betriebskrankenkasse based in Aachen - Rothe Erde and as such supports the public health insurance in Germany.

There are branches at the Bergisch Gladbach , Düren and Stolberg locations . City offices were set up in Aachen, Düren, Elsdorf , Eschweiler , Euskirchen , Hameln , Jülich , Stolberg and Wuppertal . The origin of the Actimonda lies in the factory health insurance company founded by William Prym GmbH & Co. KG on November 6, 1884 . In 1996 the company health insurance funds of the Anker Gebr. Schoeller GmbH + Co. KG , the Cologne-Düsseldorf Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt AG , the Lynenwerk and the Pfeifer & Langen GmbH & Co. KG merged with the company health insurance fund of William Prym and traded as BKK Anker-Lynen -Prym (ALP). The headquarters were retained in the Stolberg William Prym factory. On April 1, 2004, the BKK of Zanders Feinpapiere AG , based in Bergisch Gladbach, joined the BKK ALP. With the expansion of responsibility to the Cologne-Düsseldorf Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt on April 1, 2008, the name was changed to BKK ALP plus . On October 1 of the same year, BKK Vorwerk & Co. KG merged with BKK ALP plus and on January 1, 2012, BKK Pfeifer & Langen joined the insurance company.

Finally, on September 1, 2012, the name was changed to Actimonda BKK with the abbreviation Actimonda Krankenkasse and the headquarters were relocated from Stolberg to Aachen-Rothe Erde. The last takeover to date was the merger with the Heimbach company health insurance fund on January 1, 2014 .

Contribution rates
