Anna Eunike Röhrig
Anna Eunike Röhrig (born January 29, 1962 in Pirmasens ) is a German writer and librarian . She has also translated books by other authors from English and French.
Life
Anna Eunike Röhrig passed her Abitur in 1981 at the Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium Pirmasens and then studied library science in Frankfurt am Main . After graduating as a qualified librarian, she worked in the publishing industry in Hildesheim .
Anna Eunike Röhrig has been working in the Hildesheim Cathedral Library since 1987 , an institution over 1200 years old that has been public for more than 300 years. Since 1991 Röhrig has been a regular contributor to the annually published book “Famous Women” from Suhrkamp Verlag , which is edited by Luise F. Pusch . Since 1996 she has been working as a freelancer on the " Biographical-Bibliographical Church Lexicon ". Röhrig regularly organizes readings from her books all over Germany .
In 1997 the work by Antonia Fraser, "The Six Wives of Henry VIII.", Which she had translated received the historical non-fiction prize.
The author has been married to Gerd Röhrig since 1986 and they have had a son since 1999.
