Anna Stöhr (born April 25, 1988 in Reith im Alpbachtal ) is an Austrian sport climber . She was one of the world's best in the competitive discipline of bouldering .

Life

In 2003 she won the World Youth Championship in speed in Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria. Her strengths are mainly in bouldering. This is where she achieved her greatest successes, winning three times (2006, 2007 and 2010) the bouldering competition at the Rock Master in Arco and becoming world champion in 2007 and 2011 . On the natural rock, your boulder reaches difficulty 8b ( The Riverbed in the Swiss Magic Wood). In July 2018 she ended her active career as a competitive climber.

Stöhr studied English and sports at the University of Innsbruck . She is the longtime partner of climbing colleague Kilian Fischhuber .
