Annalisa (* 5. August 1985 in Savona as Annalisa Scarrone ) is an Italian pop singer . With a second place at the casting show Amici di Maria De Filippi 2011 and three appearances at the Sanremo Festival , she became known to a wider audience.

Career

Scarrone grew up in Carcare . After a variety of musical experiences and a degree in physics , she took part in the tenth edition of the casting show Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2010 , in which she came second in the singing category behind Virginio Simonelli . She was also awarded the Critics' Prize. She then released her first album Nali , which also contained her contributions from the casting show. The album Mentre tutto cambia was released the next year, preceded by the single Senza riserva .

In 2013 Annalisa first took part in the Sanremo Festival . With Scintille , she reached the final, but ultimately only reached ninth place. At the same time her third album Non so ballare was released . After several single releases, the singer announced her participation in the 2015 Sanremo Festival . There she reached fourth place with Una finestra tra le stelle . Again the new album, Splende , which was produced by Francesco Silvestre , was released.

Further Sanremo participations took place in 2016 (eleventh place) and 2018 (third place).
