Anne O. Krueger
Anne Osborn Krueger (born February 12, 1934 in Endicott , New York ) is an American economist and from 2001 was Deputy Director General of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Since 2007 she has been Professor of International Economics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Career
Krueger was a professor at the University of Minnesota from 1959 to 1982. From 1982 to 1986 she worked as Vice President of Economics and Research for the World Bank . In 1987 she moved to Duke University . In 1994 she was appointed to Stanford University .
In 1996, Krueger served as President- Elect of the American Economic Association .
