Antenne Bergstraße has been the only event radio on Bergstraße since 2001 . Radio is a media educational project that aims to offer laypeople an insight into the world of radio by participating. It is broadcast from the radio studio of the European School Schuldorf Bergstrasse in Seeheim-Jugenheim . Around 200 volunteer radio producers of all ages create around 800 programs every year.

Event radio

Antenne Bergstraße is a time-limited radio program that broadcasts on the occasion of an event lasting several days. This took place in 2013 for the Ecumenical Peace Decade . The 24-hour live program, made up of editorially prepared topics and a wide variety of music, was broadcast in stereo on an FM frequency during the ten-day broadcasting period up to and including 2014 . The broadcasting license was granted by the Hessian State Authority for Private Broadcasting and New Media (LPR) in Kassel . Antenna Bergstraße has been broadcasting purely as internet radio since 2015 and again on VHF since 2018.

The Hessentag 2014 in Bensheim was officially accompanied by Antenne Bergstraße. During the Hessentag, the broadcaster provided information and entertainment around the folk festival on Bergstrasse.

Antenne Bergstraße covers various topics such as youth , church and politics as well as every hour on the hour from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the news with topics from Bergstraße , Germany and the world , which are researched and researched by voluntary radio producers themselves to get prepared.

history

Antenne Bergstrasse first went on air on October 21, 2001 under the name Radio Melibokus . The name was changed for the ten-day broadcast week in 2011. Antenne Bergstraße has been a registered association since March 2017 .
