Anthony Alwyn Fernandes Barreto (born December 22, 1952 in the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman ) is a Roman Catholic bishop .
Life
Barreto visited the seminary St. Charles Seminary in Nagpur and the Seminary Pune . He received on 13 October 1979, the sacrament of holy orders and was then in the diocese of Poona operates. On July 5, 2005 he was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed first bishop of the newly established diocese of Sindhudurg .
