Career
society
In his childhood, Antoine Conte first played for AS Val de Fontenay and CO Vincennois from the Val-de-Marne department in the Paris metropolitan area. At the age of twelve he moved to the youth department of the famous Paris Saint-Germain club . On February 1, 2013, three days after his 19th birthday, Conte was used for the first time in PSG's 4-0 away win over FC Toulouse and came on for Mamadou Sakho . As a result, he was also part of the championship team in Paris, which was able to win the title for the first time since 1994. From the 2013/14 season, the defender received a professional contract with PSG, but was loaned out to league rivals Stade Reims . At the beginning of the season he was initially used sporadically as a right-back by his coach and former Bundesliga player Hubert Fournier , but then lost his place in the team and was not included in the squad for several months. At the end of the season, Conte completed the last five league games over the full distance in his traditional center-back position. After the loan expired, Paris and Reims agreed on a permanent transfer of the 20-year-old.
National team
Antoine Conte has played in all French junior national teams from U-17 to U-21. At the U-17 European Football Championship in Serbia in 2011 , he completed the second group game against the hosts alongside Aymeric Laporte . At the 2011 U-17 World Cup in Mexico, he was only used in the second group game. With the U-19 selection, the defender then made it into the final at the U-19 European Football Championship in Lithuania in 2013 . Together with players like Anthony Martial or Adrien Rabiot , the Serbian team lost 1-0. Conte was in the starting line-up in all five tournament games.
