Antonín Basler
Antonín Basler (born February 16, 1956 in Šumperk , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Olomouc .
Life
Antonín Basler received on 30 June 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He was active in pastoral care in Luhačovice , Vizovice , Horní Lhota and Bystročice . He was also dean in Vizovice . Since 1999 he was pastor in Olomouc. In the same year he was appointed cathedral chapter of the Olomouc Metropolitan Chapter . Since 2000 he has also been Chancellor of the Diocesan Curia.
On July 5, 2017 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Vaga and auxiliary bishop in Olomouc. The Archbishop of Olomouc, Jan Graubner , donated him and Josef Nuzík, who was appointed auxiliary bishop with him, to the episcopal ordination on October 14 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop emeritus Josef Hrdlička and the bishop of Brno , Vojtěch Cikrle .
